Requests Statuses
Understand the Request Status
In Penbox, the status of your request changes automatically or manually as actions are taken by you or your contacts. Understanding these statuses helps you track the progress of each request and take the necessary actions to keep your workflows efficient.
Main Statuses
-
Created:
- This is the default status when a request is sent or generated.
- A request with the "Created" status means the contact has not accessed the link yet.
-
In Progress:
- When the contact accesses the form, the request status will update to "In Progress."
- This status allows you to track the information being filled out by the contact in real-time.
-
Completed:
- Once the contact has filled out all the required fields, the status switches to "Completed."
- A completed request is ready for review or further processing.
-
Needs Attention:
- If the contact fails to complete the form on time, the status changes to "Needs Attention."
- This status serves as a reminder to follow up with the contact.
Statuses Set by Users or API
-
Processed:
- A user can manually set a request to "Processed" once all the required information has been collected.
- Typically used when the request has been reviewed and no further action is needed.
-
Archived:
- A request can be manually set to "Archived" to initiate an early deletion process.
- This is helpful for maintaining data hygiene or meeting data retention policies.
Other Statuses
-
Scheduled:
- Requests scheduled to be sent in the future will have the "Scheduled" status.
- This status is often used for campaigns or time-sensitive requests.
-
Draft:
- Requests saved as drafts before being sent will have the "Draft" status.
- Drafts allow you to prepare and review requests before finalizing them.
By understanding and managing these statuses, you can efficiently monitor the progress of your requests and ensure timely follow-ups, making your workflows in Penbox more effective and organized.
