Set Up Your Domain Name Server (DNS)

To build trust with your customers, it’s essential to ensure your emails and forms appear authentic and professional. By configuring your DNS, you can customize the domain name in URLs and emails, making your communication more trustworthy and aligned with your brand.

1. How to Set Up Your DNS

Follow these steps to configure your DNS for Penbox:

  1. Go to app.penbox.io and log in.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click on Settings.
  3. Under Workspace, click on Domains.

You’ll now configure DNS settings for both Form Hosting and Email Hosting.

2. Configuring Form Hosting and Email Hosting

  • Form Hosting: This ensures that your forms display your domain name in the URL.
  • Email Hosting: This allows Penbox requests to be sent to your customers using your company’s email.

Steps to Set Up:

  1. Click Set up this domain for both Form Hosting and Email Hosting.
  2. Enter the following information:
    • Form Hosting: Use form.(your-domain-name). For example, if your domain is your-company.com, enter form.your-company.com.
    • Email Hosting: Use your domain name as it appears in your email address. For example, if your email address is [email protected], your domain name would be your-company.com.
